Bronwyn’s college recruitment process began back in 2015 when she was fourteen years old. She was playing U15 AA with the Scarborough Sharks and had been touring a number of NCAA Division I programs to get a feel for what she wanted to pursue both academically and athletically.
But there wasn’t much out there in the way of support. Her parents were newer to the women’s hockey world and didn’t know how to best approach the matter of recruiting. Lucky for her, she had a few great coaches who were able to step up and lead her in the right direction, but she still remembers how daunting the whole process felt.
That’s why she created rinkWISE.
Now two years into the running of her business, BBHD, Bronwyn has met with a number of young girls who are eager to continue their hockey careers into the university realm. And many of them are met with the same concerns and questions.
